In the Bible, God does plenty of ethnic cleansing, especially the Old Testament.

So what are you saying, that because one group does it it is OK for another to do the same.
We all know the blood soaked history of this planet, we cannot keep using history to justify today's violence. In case you had not noticed we have moved on from the Christian tyranny of the dark ages and Europe is now mostly secular,
That was then this is now.
So lets deal with today's problems.
Which is a group of religious maniacs want to slaughter mankind, and those moderates of that faith refuse to help the rest of the world stop them.
So if you want to learn from history look at how the powers of the Church was broken in Europe and see if we can apply those lessons to Islam.

It is true that organized "religion" has a terrible record. Consider the inquisition, the crusades, and on and on. What this proves is that organized "religion" is not following Scriptures. Most organized religion is "the same" and the sameness is ERROR. There is truth. It is Scripture, and people are called to it. If you embrace Scripture you will not be participating in "Ethnic cleansing" (though you might be on the recieving end). Those who follow Scripture will be the chosen ones in the end, and overpopulation will NOT be a problem.

i could also say this about white people instead of using the word christian. Slavery, Colonisers ??? Black & asian people were not crusaders.
and as for Blair. Britain is 75% atheists. So it was atheists OF TODAY that voted for him, so you can hardly blame Christians.
Every church in the UK has been against every war, but this doesn't sell newspapers.
also, even though i am also against the war on iraq, you may want to check your figures about the war on iraq, more muslims have been killed by other muslims now than by the soilders.

Muslims, Christians, Catholics, all of these religions like to point the finger at each other, religion is religion and if you’re an open minded person maybe non of these religions are for you. Have you looked up scientology? It’s just a suggestion!

Violence in the name of religion is always an abomination, isn't it?
Most major religions have practised mass genocide, when it suited their purposes.
One only needs to see the barbaric low-point reached with the videos of Saddam's hanging (which happened once the U.S. handed over their international prisoner of war, contrary to ALL international laws), to agree that the so-called 'high moral ground' so loudly preached by Bush and Blair is one BIG crock of crapola!
Hate begets hate. Violence begets violence. Jesus said it best ''He who lives by the sword wlll die by the sword."

You are just one of the stupid ones aren't you? The crusades were over 1000 years ago, the violence of islam is happening NOW in the 21st century. Your lot are stuck 1400 years ago, adhering to the vile preachings of hatred and vilolence spouted by a raping, lying, paedophile.

The mis-use of Jesus and his name is quite disturbing.
Jesus set a command to love your neighbor. This means no killing of anyone. It is God himself that will destroy wicked persons. It is not up to us.
Jesus also commented that his followers are no part of the world. This is a broad comment, but obviously his followers should not get involved with the events of nations or communities that can tarnish what Jesus stood for, and would associate a Christian with everyone else.

theres only supposed to be one christian god and chuch. there are thousands, false christianity inflicts violence true christianity does not, unless in defence of the nation home or family.
ther are two powers the one we want and dont get and the one we dont want and do get.the heavenly power of peace and understanding is not acceptable to the earthly power of riches armies and violent force, so the christians are forced to take a stand in earthly power while thay await the comming of the heavenly power.
