My advice is don't get her any. My friends 10 year old daughter has a pair. She fell on them and broke both her wrists. I personally don't think they are safe.

I saw someone (with an online shop) selling them on Ebay buy it now for £49.99. My stepdaughter has just been bought a pair for Christmas and apparently they were about £70. Might be worth pointing out that a Heeleys company in USA is being sued after a child wheeled into the road and got run over. Apparently there were no brakes on this particular type, but not sure which ones if any have brakes on them.

I got them for my daughter at the below link.
They seemed competitively priced and were very helpful when I called with a question.
She has loads of stonking fun on them!
