All religious traditions incorporate myth as metaphoric teachings. Myth is NOT necessarily negatively connoted in religious studies. Myth is used pejoratively only when anyone is so insecure in their own beliefs that they need to cast aspersions on the beliefs of another.

Well the only way i can answer that is really looking at the bible.
it has been historically accurate in times of civilizations,
Kings, Prophecy, and its relevance to helping people in giving them counsel, and how to live. All these things have been beneficial for everyone that wants to apply them. Mostly because of the prophetic nature of the bible, It is regarded as divine and factual. Other religions have not done so.

I think "myth", refers mostly to dead religious ideas that are known about but no one follows anymore. And that involve a particular culture that no longer exists.

I feel that as long as you are praising God and Being thankful that He sent His Son to die for us, then everything else will fall into place. I sorta feel bad for those religions that try to minimize the importance of Jesus. That right there will get you sent to hell.
