Anyone who is truly seeking the truth of God. The Bible speaks on " seek , and you will find" there is an action word there before the truth is found , and that is to seek.
Anyone who loves Jesus wants to know all they can about his will. His will can be found in the words of the Bible.
Prayer is about having a real relationship with God , talking to him, trusting in him, seeking his will.

I do, but not as a set routine.Every day seems to make up its own scedule. I also realize that good intentions arn't worth a hoot if you don't act on them.We started a bible class Jan.7 and will do the entire Bible in a year. I pray I will see that through. We have this big work book and I hated school, now at 76 here I am going to school (it feels like) with my 80 yr. old husband. Our lives are so different walking with the Lord. Gets sweeter every day !!!!

By His death on the cross Jesus triumphed over the forces of evil. He who subjugated the demonic spirits during His earthly ministry has broken their power and made certain their ultimate doom. Jesus' victory gives us victory over the evil forces that still seek to control us, as we walk with Him in peace, joy, and assurance of His love. Now the Holy Spirit dwells within us and empowers us. Continually committed to Jesus as our Saviour and Lord, we are set free from the burden of our past deeds. No longer do we live in the darkness, fear of evil powers, ignorance, and meaninglessness of our former way of life. In this new freedom in Jesus, we are called to grow into the likeness of His character, communing with Him daily in prayer, feeding on His Word, meditating on it and on His providence, singing His praises, gathering together for worship, and participating in the mission of the Church. As we give ourselves in loving service to those around us and in witnessing to His salvation, His constant presence with us through the Spirit transforms every moment and every task into a spiritual experience. (Ps 1:1, 2; 23:4; 77:11, 12; Col 1:13, 14; 2:6, 14, 15; Luke 10:17-20; Eph 5:19, 20; 6:12-18; 1 Thess 5:23; 2 Peter 2:9; 3:18; 2 Cor. 3:17, 18; Phil 3:7-14; 1 Thess 5:16-18; Matt 20:25-28; John 20:21; Gal 5:22-25; Rom 8:38, 39; 1 John 4:4; Heb 10:25.)

I pray quite often throughout each day and I thank God for his grace and blessings as well. I have a Bible study weekly to enhance my knowledge of the Bible and draw me closer to God.

I don't read the bible daily, maybe one or two days a week ( plus the flip through for specific passages). I don't pray since I don't believe in god.

I don't read my Bible everyday, but I do pray everyday. I believe in P.U.S.H (pray until something happens). And when I have a question I read my Bible to recieve clarity. Sometimes I just read it to feel closer to Jesus.

I'm a Catholic and I pray everyday!
I'm a Secular Franciscan (3rd order of St. Francis) so I do the Divine Office (Liturgy of the Hours morning and evening) I get alot of my Scripture (Bible) reading there as well as participate in Daily Mass whether in person on Sundays and Holy Days of obligation or on EWTN television (with a large family, it's not too easy to get to Mass daily but, I want to try harder in this year of 2007) Then I will just talk to God throughout the course of the day...ie- "Hi God, thanks for the lovely ______ (breakfast, new coat, flower,....). Help me Lord with _______ (my husband, children, sick neighbor, ...)" "I'm sorry Lord for ______ (getting mad at the kids, talking on the phone too long and neglecting my daily duties, etc.)"
Even from time to time...."Father, I'm mad at you" or maybe "Lord, I think you don't love me"
usually ended by "because I did _____"
When you have a Relationship with someone, you want to talk to them (prayer), listen to them
(Bible, religious talks, Homilies at Mass, etc)
and have them near you (as Catholics we have Him near us in the Most Holy Eucharist (Holy Communion). If you can't believe in the Eucharist or John 6 in the Bible, I encourage you to visit a Perpetual Adoration chapel or a Poor Clare convent (both places have Jesus truly Present in the Holy Eucharist in a Monstrance) You may walk in not believing but, if you are honest with yourself and don't shut your heart to Him, He'll reveal that He is there!
Try it, I dare you :)
