1) Go to control panel, locate the drivers or the software of your infrared device, and click on properties to see if it has any conflicts with other drivers, devices or programs on your PC. IF it has, Windows will also provide you with a troubleshoot link on how to fix it.
2) Back up every driver you have (in a cd) and then uninstall EVERYTHING. The drivers, any software that you installed for the iRDa, etc (check your registry too) & restart your pc.
3) If you have WinXP, plug in your iRDa device to your USB port, and wait if it will install ON ITS OWN. In my PC at least this is done automatically..
4) After you install it (either automatically or manually with the drivers etc) download and instal the Float's Mobile Agent (FMA) and use that software to connect your phone to and transfer files..

hope this helped..

I would ignore the warning

To turn that off go to the control panel, select system, then select the hardware tab, click on the driver signing, then select 'Ignore' and click OK, you will no longer be prompted to click yes or no when installing your beta drivers, speeding up what to many is a very annoying feature.

I agree also. I recommend you have done a system restore point beforehand so you know that you can restore to the last point.

I know that Win XP complains some software needs digitial signing. I had to replace a old driver for my monitor and had that warning you mentioned.

Dont problem, basically flow to My pc> homes>Hardware>motive force Signing> and click on the button in the front of :"ignore about-deploy the software besides and dont ask for my approval" then click ok.
