That depends on what your talking about "Side effects", I've been on Zoloft for over 10 years and have stopped taking it for periods of time, mainly because of one specific side effect. if you have barely been on it for two months you havent even given it a chance to start working and it is never a good idea to quit taking mental health drugs cold turkey when you do your symptoms come back stronger and harder to deal with I know I have been on many differant types for depression and have stopped taking a few cold turkey so the doctors would have to change my perscription and up the dosage if the zoloft is not working give it more time if it is making you sick or feeling funny talk to your doctor and he or she can adjust the dosage or give you something differant.

You really shouldn't stop taking anti-depressants cold turkey. You should have weaned yourself off gradually or spoken to your doctor about it. Since they say it can take anywhere from 6-8 weeks to feel the full affects of an anti-depressant, you may not have withdrawal symptoms at all. It is just going to depend.
