Commonly sold bath soaps strip our skin of their acid mantle.........normal PH balance of skin should be about 7 I think. Buy some organic goats milk soap, very soothing and gentle on the skin. To restore the PH balance to your skin simply place 1/2 inch of vinegar in the bottom of a 2 litre bottle of water. Shower as usual with your normal soap, making sure you don't pour it near your eyes, and pour the vinegar over your body to get rid of the chemical laden soap. That is what your body is reacting to, all the chemicals in the soap. Organic soaps are about $1 - 1.50 per bar but last about 6 - 8 weeks each (and I've got 3 kids and a husband) and definitely don't end up mashed and mangled like normal soaps do..........Cheers......:)

Stop bathing? No way!
It's probably the soap that you use that causes irritation. Try one with a 5.5 P.H.(ask your doctor). After bathing apply a soothing body lotion for sensitive skin.
Visit a dermatologist or a G.P.

You probably have dry skin. You should avoid really hot baths. And moisturize right after while your skin is still damp. You should also drink more water. It helps with dry skin.

Try changing the brand of soap you use and buy some Gold Bond Cream. It worked for me.

Check out your soap - you may be allergic. Right after you bathe use your favorite body lotion.
