To teenagers and young adults. Why ask your friends or say here and not family planning agencies about sex?
Ie why not ask the likes of
www.ruthinking.org.uk
www.childline.org.uk
www.4yp.co.uk
www.fpa.org.uk
www.brook.org.uk
www.drugscope.org.uk
www.lifeline.org.uk
www.talktofrank.com
www.ecstacy.org
www.ibogaine.co.uk
Instead of assuming people here or you mates know what they are talking about.
Likewise why not force teachers or parents to answer the questions you need to know ... And stick one of those little lie detectors infront of them?
AND WHY THE **** DO YOU WASTE TIME AFTER YOU THINK YOU MAY HAVE DONE SOMETHING TO GET YOU PREGNANT, ASKING QUESTIONS HERE INSTEAD OF RUNNING OFF FOR A MORNING AFTER PILL?
AS THEY HAVE A TIME LIMIT

Why bee in bonnet?
This is how myths like you can't get pregnant standing up, if the guy pulls out, first time, on period...
Even stuff like if a guy wares a luminous watch the radiation in the paint kills the sperm on the way out, or pepsi squrted in vaginas stops you getting pregnant
all come about .
Yes some here do give good advice. Other dont, some think its funny to give the wrong advice ie the luminous watch one.
This get people pregnant.
Likewise its like me asking a hairdresser who has no car and never Driven how to fix my breaks.
Does it not make more sense to ask a mechanic?
Likewise the morning after pill has to be taken quickly so wheres the sense in posting a question, waiting 4 days for answers then it being too late.?
Then its abortion or having baby.

If you look back at my posts I am more worried then judging.
And some of these sites are linked to call centres where you can ask someone, you dont have to meet which will asnwer whats not on the site.
Ones like ruthinking are aimed at teenagers.. Adn the 4yp has a bus that goes around staffed by those in early twenties etc.
The sites are examples. Many others do the same thing

if u dnt LIKE teens or young adults asking 4 help then stay out of the ruddy teen question room u idiot!
Actually I do... but it is upsetting seeing so many get hurt as got the wrong advice, At least mine is passing on info from sex ed edgencies and some of these guys are aimed straight at teenagers.
But others dont check their info or anwsers as sid you dont know who you are asking.
And thats the danger

Anonymity being one of the main reasons people young and old ask questions on line.
Another is not being laughed and ridiculed by family and friends is another, when asking what maybe a simple question to some, but dumb to others.
Another is they feel unsure they can approach relevant services to their needs. Or they are unsure just where to go.
Or just plain and simply dead scared of what the options are available to them.

As someone said anonymity is a fairly good reason for people to asking questions on-line.
I noticed that the web sites you list are all United Kingdom, that is good if you live there, but people using this site are from different countries, such as USA, New Zealand, Australia, Malaysia etc.
And if your new to a country of district, this is site can be valuable source of information.
As for young teens having sex at an early age surely its the responsiblity of the parents, to educate their child about the pro and cons of sex. Teens are not stupid, just not informed enough.

Have you ever been to a family planning clinic? They are totally patronising and demoralising and it doesn't matter how old you are or what your situation is, they treat you like a naughty teenager who has been up to no good.
And who the hell talks to a teacher about their sex life? Have you considered taking a vacation into the real world to see what it's like?
Also - Why would someone who wants advice about pregnancy find www.ecstacy.org useful?
Not everyone who asks on here 'am I pregnant' is hoping they are not. Lots of people are hoping they are.

Sometimes it's easier to ask a fellow human being than a formal paragraph on an organisational website...
I understand where you are coming from, but some people find it easier to talk to someone on their wavelength and also on here the questions and answers can be more specific...
I understand some of your frustration...

Its hard to look someone in the face and tell them your pregnant. Maybe they are just looking for a bit of support first. I have asked questions I probably shouldn't of asked either but I would rather sound dumb on here than face to face or over the phone when they know my real name etc..
It is easier... now stop Bi*!&*ng, its people like you that drive me crazy not the stupid questions, just the Jerky ones!

Maybe they are embarassed? They can trust their friends...and heck they can trust us on here..but...most teenagers/young adults can not afford to buy the morning after pill everytime they have sex. And maybe they don't go to those websites..because most websites don't answer ALL OF YOUR QUESTIONS! on here the get quick answers..some may be dumb...but most are pretty decent. If they were to go to planned parenthood all they would really do is hand them pamphlets about safe sex, abortion, adoption, and throw them a handful of condoms.

I hate to sound rude but I think you can answer this yourself. What teenager/young adult wants to go ask there parents about sex? much less research a whole bunch of websites when they can just ask on here? I'm just sayin.

I am not planning on having sex anytime soon.
But, it's good you care about all the stupid kids who want to have sex at like 13 or 14.
