In the United States there are many sources of conventional energy. The old method which I believe is the best is the use of hydro-electric. This means that power plants are built at the foot of some dams that have a constant overflow. The energy from the water helps turn the turbines that generate electricity. Than there is wind, nuclear and thermal energy. The latter is still in the developing stage.

conventional sources of energy are non renewable sources of energy like thermal hydel nuclear etc.it is obtained from power plants and is the most common form of energy these days.but fast depletion of resources force us to look at non conventional sources of energy which include solar, wind, tidal & geothermal energy

Conventional soures are non renewable soure of energy like coal, petroleum. We should be careful while using them .we should not use energy in such a way that it becomes deritmental to the environment. We should use it in such a way that needs of present generation could be meet and shall remain conserve for future generations.
