Yes........by the simple process of applying you will be making a new credit report where one has not existed.

This how we all started our on credit report.

Use your new found freedom with care.

You can always apply, but they will probably be looking for a solid work history and income history.
If you are knocked back, you could try building your credit history by purchasing an item or two through a store that provides a credit service. You may need a guarantor, but it is a quick way to establish a credit history when you start the rocky road to bankruptcy :))

Go to a local bank and ask about a secured credit card. This is where you put up a certain amount of money in trust as collateral, and that is the amount of your credit limit. After a trial period, after the bank sees how you pay your bills, then you get the deposit back, and a regular credit card with at least a $1500 credit limit.

Yes you can, but you will not get it unless you have a co-signer probably. BUT you will be better off without one as you will be in debt the rest of your life paying off the interest alone.
