IFSC: International Financial Services Center.

Is there a train/metro that runs to the city centre, and if so would it be quicker to do that and then grab a taxi?

In no traffic, say on a Sunday night, it'd be about half an hour (I'd go round the M50 and in along the Liffey, but than again I'm not a native, and that's the way I know best).

In the Monday rush hour - heaven only knows. Much, much longer, certainly. If you know London, imagine the road along the Liffey as the North Circular around Hanger Lane and you'll get the idea.

For the other answerers - IFSC is the Irish Financial Services Centre, located next to the Docks.

It will take longer than 30 minutes on Monday at 9 am. Your only transportation options if you don't have a car are taxi or bus. The bus will get you to city centre, then you have to get another bus (or walk) to the IFSC. A taxi will be quicker but cost a lot more. Count on 45 minutes to an hour.

It will take about an hour or so due to traffic. Best option is to try and get a bus that goes to Busaras, which is the central bus station. It is just across the road from the IFSC. If not you can get any bus going to the city and walk about 5-10 minutes or get the tram. Look at Dublin airport website and go onto the "getting to and from" section of it for transport details.

Traffic in Dublin is probably the worst in Europe, if not the world.

Quickest way from airport to IFSC is by taxi (cost about 30 euro)

You can also get an express bus from outside the terminal to Busáras, the central bus station. Busáras is only 2 minutes walk from IFSC.

All public transpot can use the bus lanes. Trip should take about 30 minute.
