There are some crazy statistics that say 10-15% of the dads out there are not the real dads, and a lot of people are paying child support for kids they didnt create. Infidelity occurs and the story of the cuckold husband is a fact of life.

if the man has doubts about a child's paternity, he can ask to have a test......but there are a lot of men who do not want to or need to....they are happily married men with families who have great relationships with the wives. also, based on your statistics, 85% to 90% of men are the real fathers on their children. pretty good odds, don't you think?

i would pressume you do not have a great deal of trust with regards to the women you have been with....but that is your experience and the type of women you associate with may not be the type of girls you bring home to mother.

maybe if you changed your taste and try going with better women, those thrust worthly, faithful and loyal, then you will have another thought process....

A divorce lawyer once told me that a judge could order you to pay child support even when you are not the biological father. If there is evidence that you've had a parental relationship with the kids, then this is good enough for the judge to order you to pay child support.

Not being the biological father does not automatically mean that you are not responsible for supporting the children. Only if you've never had a parental relationship with the kids and you are not the biological father, then most likely the judge will decide that you are not responsible for child support.

The government doesn't want to get stuck with the bill. And this means that they'll find an excuse to stick some man with the bill, even if he is not the biological father.

That would depend on how long this child thinks this person is their father. Yes , like you said infidelity happens but should the child be punished.?

If child support is wanting to brought then I say yes maybe a paternity test should be done, but not just because a child is born and they want to make sure who the parents are.

Paternity tests are available. To all who seek them. If it's a child support issue, all the father has to do is go to court and have an order issued for the test.

I know this has happened where guys are paying for the support of a kid they didn't father.

But I wouldn't make it a mandatory thing, we already have to damned many regulations as it is.

I don't see why not. It would simpler if it was done right when the baby was born. Plus I think that it would finally put Maury Povich out of work.

The sham of the whole thing is, if a man pays child support, and then finds out the baby isn't his, Nothing happens. The courts say "sorry about your luck" and then forget about it.

Where are the equal rights feminists when this happens?

It's sad, but for lack of morals and legal reasons, it will have to come to that. I just watched a Maury where a woman went 8 times and not one of the men was the father...I can understand a man wanting to protect his ASSets. It takes a big man to be a step father, and that's a choice he should be able to make on his own, not tricked into.

No, however the blood taken on the time of the start would nicely be used for the attempt, however the daddy nonetheless needs to be sampled. This attempt must be needed in all births, and made component to the basic tests, alongside with DNA tests for skill genetic issues.

Unless the paternity is in question, it seems like a waste of time , money, and resources that could be put to better use.

If I were you, I would not waste any more time on this one. Better yet, why not make it mandatory that all men are assessed for their level of responsibility of birth control.......hmmmmmmm???

I think its a great idea. The feminazis would fight it tooth and nail, though. They are only interested in gaining financially, and could care less about the children or the fathers as long as they get paid.
