There IS NO good credit card that will be right for you. IF you do not have or have bad credit, they will eat you up in interest rates. Leave them along and you will be better off. You will end up in debt the rest of your life. Save up for what you want. Put back money each week untill you have enough to buy what you want to. EX:
Make a payment to yourself each week and before you know it you will have saved enough to but the item.

Your credit is bad. Perhaps you have a string of unpaid bills haunting your past. Maybe you declared bankruptcy within the past 10 years, or defaulted on a student loan.
All of the above can block your access to obtaining a major credit card, such as VISA or Mastercard.
But bad credit is not the only reason you can be denied a major credit card. Some people simply have never used credit. People who like to pay cash only, have never financed a car, taken out a college loan, or a mortgage may have zero experience with credit. In that case, most card companies will reject your application, not because you have bad credit -- but because you have no credit rating.

HEY!
There is no such thing as a right student credit card. Best to stay away from them there credit cards. That's what the credit card company wants to get you hook on them so They will have you for life. And there goes all your hard earn money. They love you to get credit because they know you will get addicted to them and buy, buy, buy everything with the plastic card you have. That means you don't have any money and the more addicted you get the more of your money they get. So go out and get that right credit card if you don't care if you will have nothing for the rest of your life. Spend, Spend! Spend and they will love and have you for life. Go wild! Buy me some thing while you are at it because it's so easy to spend money you don't have. Lot of luck for you. You will need it once you get that so call right credit card.

Bad credit is one of the worst problems to have... however there exists a solution.
I will hereby talk from my personal experience.
I did debt consolidation a couple of years ago, however If I had to do it again I would pay to some minor details,
if someone wants to get out of debt today it is pretty easy with a debt consolidation plan, however it may get a bit tricky at times, I suggest you get as much information as possible online on this first,
a good place to start in my humble opinion is astraight to the point ebook with question and answer I found :
