It depends on why you lost touch. They might not want to be found. There's personal ads you could put in the paper. You could do an Internet search with WhitePages, or some other website. You could Google the name. You can talk to mutual friends. Check at the post office to see if they've left a fore-wording address.

Register a profile on www.myspace.com and perform name search of the people u have lost touch with. Chances are at least a few of the people will have a myspace account. I found my ex girl from 5 years ago just a couple of weeks ago when I was bored one day- she lives in another country now lol
