lets throw my two cents in. in the context of religion or philosophy or politics, noone asks a question that they have not already formulated an answer to themselves. in religion and philosophy and politics there are no answers there are just competing world views, and thus only some sort of holy fool or idiot would ask questions 'in a search for answers'.

In R&S, while some ask questions seeking answers, many do have their own agendas, and ask loaded questions to try and get these agendas over with other people.
