Or can it be from concentrate if as long as it's 100% juice?

I'd say it has to be fresh, if you have concentrate, its watered down. Pure fruit juice will have more vitamins

I would not count it at all toward your 5 a day...

5 a day is a guide-line, to ensure you get nutrients, but also fibers and filler. Juice is in fact lots of calories... it contains vitamins, and is good especially for kids - who don't eat enough F+V.
This however looks like only my opinion, because... to be honest, I see that the FDA count it as a fruit... any juice. frozen, canned or whatever...

FDA is very pressed to sell canned OJ... :))
