New Orleans was an Inherited disaster and a French design. The USA was not here yet when it was established. In the 70's and the 80's millions were sent to N.O. to beef up the levy system. Like most Liberal "give them cash" scenarios the US government can give the money but not assure it makes it to where it is planned. N.O. and LA. Spent it on a NEW football stadium and several "downtown" projects. We are 50 United States and the US governemnt CANNOT just go in and do as It pleases without and Invitation. So if a disaster Like Katrina happens and the USA sends Millions and cannot make sure the State and Local Governments don't do other projects. Like some of the Millions sent already and the State Government spent part of that on Parks in other parts of the state and the City has placed some of the money in Voting machines!!! The world like most Americans are ignorant and happy to be so. As the Silt from the Mississippi levels out the gulf N. O. Sinks more and the USA has to sink money into a losing battle.

You almost had a credible question until you brought up the Katrina crap. I don't give much thought to what the world thinks about us. Most of it is just media hype anyway. We are the big kids on the block. Not everyone is going to like us. When the world is looking for money and protection they sure as hell like us then. So I really don't care. I believe our government tries to do the best it can for as many as it can. That is all we can do.

I don't think the whole world hates us. I think that a few do, and they get all the attention time in the media, just like the far-left & far-right politicians do.
I think that a lot of the countries couldn't care one way or another about us, and a bunch more wouldn't care, except that they trade with us.

As bad as people keep trying to come here I don't believe we are universally hated. I know you are just trying to say you hate President Bush why couldn't you just do that? President Bush is just doing his job maybe better than some, maybe worse than some. History will have to judge that. As for politicians looking out for their own interests they all do that. As far as New Orleans goes those people need to look to their locally elected officials ( mayor and Governor) before they put their hand out for still more federal dollars. As for kicking all the currently elected politicians out of Washington, did you vote? If you did you tried to kick them all out by not voting for an incumbent if you did not vote than do not complain..

Kicking people out of office want help much. It isn't the whole world against us, it seems to be that everybody hates everybody else. Country against country. But sometimes, if 1 or 2 major countries seem to be against the US, it gives us the impression that the whole world is against us. The hatred will shift. It always has and always will. It won't go away, it will just redirect itself a little, towards someone else from time to time.

No,I dont care what other countries think about us.I dont care what people think ,we are not out to win a popularity contest,we are just worried about protecting our country.
And as far as New Orleans is concerned.I tell you that alot of people are pizzed at the people of New Orleans for screwing the tax payers.Nice hotel rooms, debit cards that were spent on topless bars and designer hand bags and their LOCAL govt cant get their heads out of their asses to put people in the hundreds of empty fema trailers??Dont blame the federal govt for what should have been taken care of by the local govt. Its funny, the only people beaching about fema is the people of New Orleans. Many people are angry,we reach out a hand to help them and they screw us.But then what should one expect from people who thought the hurricane coming was a big party joke and were too stupid to get the hell out.

First, you need to learn English. Second, you really should learn some actual history. Without the U.S., the world would now be ruled by either Nazism or Soviet totalitarianism, without question. America's economic success is unprecedented in human history, and it should come as no surprise that others' envy of that is high. The U.S. is the only dominant military power in history that has not chosen to expand its borders by invasion. That fact alone speaks to the national will to live in peace with neighbors. Grow up.
