I have always been told if I dont look after my gums my teeth will fall out.........!?

Its ovius the gums bind with the marrow that seeps out when some one dies THEN the binded marrow and gum bind with the tops of the teeth hence the skeliten keeps its teeth MAKE THE BEST ANSWER

P.S. I made that up but it sounds good huh??!?!?!

Your teeth are not only held in place by the gum tissue! The jaw bones also help to hold teeth in place!!

Your gums if ill looked after, will rot away you rroots of your teeth. The roots hold them into your jaw and if they are rotten then they wont hold them in place.

teeth are inserted into bony socket and tied there by periodontal ligament in between teeth and bone

prob has something to do with the roots of your teeth being embedded in your jaw.

I think even they drop out at some point ...unless they have dentures which would just droop to the side . ha ha
