presserized, is right! My doctor had me drinking Gatorade because some meds she gave me caused a bad headache. Also, if you dont have that around make a cup of hot tea, and wet a wash cloth with hot water and place if over your eyes. Get out of the lighted room and into a darker, quieter space and lay down. Tylenol Rapid Release work VERY fast [15min for me] or even Bayer. I cannot take Excedrin because it has caffeine. If you can you should take it because the caffeine speeds up the medication.

put a cold wash cloth on your forhead, or put something cold on the inside of your wrist where your hand bends in. rub your temples counter clockwise, shut off all the lights, tv everything and just sit and think about something nice and drink lots of water, if you drink alot of caffeen, excedrine migrane works great helps get rid of it in 15 min or drink a little coke a cola, pepsi or anything with caffeen in it. also try laying down and just being quiet that may help as well. talk to your doc he/she could perscribe you something for when your headaches are really bad, i take maxalt when excedrine doesn't work or anything else, helps take the pain away. also if you have frequent headaches go see a eye doc you may need to wear glasses, i have to wear mine when i work cause i stare at a computer screen for 12 hours and my eyes start to strain from that and bright lights may also bring one on.

If it is acute search a painful point behind your thumb nail just 2 to 7 mm away. Ask your friend to press it as you can't dare being very painful. The procedure is press and relieve again press; repeat it twice or thrice, if needed change the finger. You will get it on any finger but thumb is good.
For chronic pain you will have to search a skilled acupuncturist, it is the only treatment. If you don't play pl do. Eat sweet food.
There is no medicine on any sort of headache! Pain killers is cheating.

Your appear to be some kind of a pill freak who relies on quick remedies to correct a deficient life style You need to address and resolve the issue(s) that are causing these headaches and in the future take better care of yourself by behaving. Going to the doctor while under the influence of drugs will only present a problem much greater than a headache. You may even cause the doctor to have a headache and lead him/her to rely on pills as well. Give yourself and the doctor a break from your inability to deal squarely with your needs and stop involving others with a problem only you yourself can resolve.

I think that lime thing might be worth a try!! usually I just rub in between my thumb and index finger on the opposite side of the headache.
