sorry what i meant to say is there any where i can safely leave my luggage as i have some time before i fly out again andwoullike to see london

Probably not at the airport...the days of storing luggage at an airport locker are over with. You may want to check with nearby hotels, etc. that may offer a hold service for your baggage. Another try might be to check your luggage with the airline, but don't go through security and then visit London. There may be a time limit for doing this, like 24 hours in advance, though.
