Really who was the Apostle Paul talking too?

He was actually speaking to spirit anointed Christians. As prior to the event, all person are unholy in spirit. It is by God's decision to buy a person out. Born again as the apostle Paul mentioned, was being resurrected to heaven. So a person that changes their life to God's requirement, are also changed into a new person. But born again, is a calling by God it is something special, not a general term for all Christians.

Everyone is unholy in spirit. That's why Christ said "blessed are the poor in spirit for theirs is the kingdom of heaven." What he meant was that it's a mistake to think that heaven is only for those who appear to be very good. To enter God's kingdom, you must realize what a spiritual pauper you really are.

To be born again is something God does to you. You can't do it yourself. Your part is to acknowledge that you have failed to put God first in your life, ask for forgiveness, and resolve to make Jesus Christ the ruler of your life.

You do not need to be born again. The life you have is the same life that is expressed in all the earth and universe.Life is the other name of God. God is all there is.He is within you whether you know it or not and He will never abandon you. All you need is to go within and meet Him.Keep away from human illusions of God as preached by all the religions.

Not sure exactly, but the important thing is that you annoy the sh*t out of your friends and family about being holy all of a sudden. If you are a fu*k up before you're saved then you will really **** off your soon to be former friends with you're new-found righteousness.

Hi,

Very good question...Now, I am gonna answer from a Christian perspective, as the term 'born again' is exclusive to Christianity, and allow me to explain to you what it means.

Before going any further, a little history might assist...
Since creation, We were created in perfection, with no sin, no blemish and corruption.
When and Adam & Eve sinned against God, they were kicked out of heaven, as a result, be kicked out of the Grace of God, from His presance..etc.
as a result, the Human nature was corrupted...sin entered it, and any new born child born after that, was born in the same corrupt state, because they were still born outside the grace of God. Although all things created by God are Holy, including your own soul, yet it was born in the original corrupt state that was resultant from Adam & Eve being outside God's grace, outside of heaven...like we are today.

Now, the Lord Jesus Christ, when He came and died on the Cross, He paid the price of sin, and had given us a second chance to come to Him and re-enter heaven...but how else can we enter the perfection of heaven, with our corrupt nature that we inheritted? The only way is to kill this nature, and be born again in the orginal perfect nature we were created in...but Given that Jesus died for us, we need not die physically, but rather sacrementally and spiritually and be born again...How is this done? jesus gave the answer as follows:
"I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again...I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at my saying, 'You must be born again.'"

So you see, to be born of Water and Spirit, is to Born again spiritually and sacrementally through the Baptisimal water...ie, being Baptised, where through the Holy Spirit, you sacrementally kill the old corrupt nature, and be born again anew, in a perfect nature as God had created you.

And do not be mistaken...Just because one is born again, it does not mean that they cannot sin...offcourse they can, for they still have their free will...but rather, after baptism, sin becomes like a black spot on a white sheet that is easily cleaned. But before baptism, the corruption of sin is actually part of the nature of this sheet, and thus must be renewed through Baptism.

That is the meaning of being Born Again.

I hope this helps...God bless

Read the book of Romans. Believe in your heart, confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord and you will be born again.

It is not meant to be taken literally, it is a spiritual rebirth.

born again ppl need to be fruitful, full of the Holy Spirit fruits, spreading God loves by not talking about it but by doing it.
they need to renew their mind and put themselves to God every moment.

need to have the desire to die, and let jesus live in them

this is christianity, while a lot of people forget how to be christian.

we all have our mistakes and we all have to learn from it and not to repeat them.
