Proverbs 13:13 (N.I.V.)
He who scorns instruction will pay for it,
but he who respects a command is rewarded.
++++++++++++++++++++

We are no longer alone and we no longer have to be afraid but most important is that we no longer have to pretend. The real self is the person that God loves!
Safety lies in obedience to proper instruction and commands (a command is more forceful than an instruction).
The vivid point taken in, ‘will pay,’ is that whoever despises the teaching will be treated as a debtor. ‘He will pay for it,’ means that the debtor will pay for his debt with the consequence of that debt (sin). The sin of course is that he has offended against God’s law of obedience to God!
In our fourth step inventory we can be very certain that honesty is far better than pretension even if it turns out that we are not quite who we thought we were. Some who are poor (spiritually) pretend to be rich

When I am born again, I believed in Christ Jesus and His perfect redemptive work on the cross. That moment, I died and am resurrected to have His identity. Hence I can tell you that He is made poor so that I can be made rich. Spiritually all Christians are rich but not all of them know it yet. Shalom.

Depends on YOUR definition.

I believe i am an extremely spiritual person. Day by day i am here discovering truthe on my own. I am not told what i should believe and what is right and wrong. Im not told what God is.

I dont know what God is, i dont know how the universe was created. I dont know a lot of things. Yet, i take this time in my life to learn this on my own, using logic and intelligence, something im sure God respects.

I search for god, with an open-mind and as objectively as i can. I let God speak to me, not told to me.

Yes, im a deist/gnostic

EDIT: WOw i cant believe some one defamed me (thumbs down) over MY opinion about myself. This is what i mean about todays christians. Im just saying how i see life and how i am spiritually, and some one dosnt like the way I AM! Well im sure every one else can see where im going.

Therres a difference from being negetive and ignorant. Im not flaming or being illogical. Im not making personal strikes. Im not asking stupid questions... You see where im going? Your seem smart im sure you do.

Owell, cant change em.

Here's a little piece of instruction: when you put scare quotes around a word at random you completely change the meaning of what you're saying.

I find spirituality shallow, undisciplined, and uninteresting.
