I feel that the word "Soul mate" has to go down in History as one of the most misused, misunderstood, and abused words when it comes to relationships......
I hate that word!!

there is definately a thing as soulmate coz if it wasn't ther then nobody wud have made this proverb called "marriages r made in heaven". wen u feel the spark, chemistry & connection only with that person n not with others, that's wen u get the result 4 ur search of a soulmate!

You will know when you find one! Very difficult in todays world because of the outlook for a constant variety in life! Ego hassles etc. But you will realise that he/she means so much to you that everything pales in comparision. The same things as being in love but more reality check that noone else in this world can come a bit closer to him/her.

I'm not sure if such a thing exists as true love is something that grows well after the lust period is over. I think if soul mates were to exist, then surely, you'll just KNOW....

something like bells ringing :-) anyway, it is that you think about that person all the time. your entire life is relvolving around that person and you cannot imagine how you could do without him/her, you are picturing him/her in all your future plans. and finally no matter how rigid you are as a person you are ready to accept his/her viewpoint to various issues without making big issues about them.
