My puppy is 4 months old. He is an Pitt/Lab mix. He has begun chewing on himself all over. We have bathed him and he does not have fleas. He has had all his shots up to date. What can I do to relieve him? Someone said to give him olive oil in his food. By the way he is fed a very good quality food.

There are Dog Foods for allergies. Try going to Petco. I had to do that. Be careful you are not bathing your dog too much. Our little dog was going nuts itching and we could not see any fleas and we kep bathing him. We bought this food for him and we used one dose of Front Line Flea treatmen anyway..there are lotions for dogs with Dry skin as well. Petco is a great place to go if you have one near you. Good Luck and keep taking good care of that puppy!!

Olive oil is great put in his food. Be sure you use a shampoo for dry skin too.
