I asked a question about potty training a little while ago and almost all the answers I've gotten are telling me to do things I stated in my question I was already doing!

PEOPLE! LEARN TO READ!

Yeah, some people answer without reading, but others (like myself) really do read the ?. I had a comment about breastfeeding and alcohol one time, and I had several people respond that pregnant women shouldnt drink... ummm, the baby's already born by the time you start to breastfeed!

You have to understand the points system is a double edged sword. If you didnt have the points, nobody would even bother with this site. However, it also makes some people hurry through as many questions as possible to try to raise their score, so you get a lot of ignorant answers. I personally just do this for fun. (I even asked the question can you legally sell your children just to see the chaos that ensued).

I don't think you said much in your potty training post. If you are referring to your additional information, maybe people were in the process of answering while you were adding the additional details. People are trying to help and let you know what worked for them, but you don't want to hear it. Maybe if you lighten up your son will stop peeing everywhere. I really do empathize with you, but I don't want to offer suggestions to someone as rude as you!

guess Kandy

most of people here are for mere two points rather than an interaction ...
have seen so many absurd monosyabble answers

best is people got so lazy now they put Y for Yes and N for No...

well thats how it is ....

so just put in a fresh question may be somebody might help.

A lot of people seem to outright ignore the detail section, but they usually do read the main question.

wow! are you that strict with your child? YOU! POTTY NOW!

i am sure that many were just sharing what worked with them. your results may vary. you said almost all that means instead of trying the things that you hadnt tried you decided to blast those that were trying to help you.

nobody ever said that raising children was going to be easy and everybody needs help of some sort or another to get it done.

don't burn your bridges or else you will be on an island with no way out.
