when the appropriate age to have sex? im 14 and know many people through out my class who have already had sex... most of them sluts.

there is no right age but from a girls prospective it isnt fun with
young guys.so i say they should wait.guys should wait because
your first experience is usually quick.and well the last thing you
want is half the school to know that you lasted 5min.have fun and
always always always use a condom.

Although I'd hope my kids (if i had any) would wait till at least 18, when they've finished high school and sex doesn't get in the way of their studies, (even though I know that's stretching it) there's really no magic age. It's a decision that only you can make. I wasn't ready myself until I was 20!
Just don't give into peer pressure ok? It's your body, your emotions, don't do it for someone else. Make sure it's what YOU want.

Wow... that's a tough question to answer. I think it really depends on the person.
With sexual intercourse come a lot of responsibility - particularly birth control... to many kids are getting pregnant because they're poorly educated about their bodies, or simply lack the self control to use some form of protection.
Then there are the moral issues - if you belong to a faith that expects intercourse to wait until marriage, and you believe your faith - then the proper age, becomes the age you are on the night of your marriage...
Stats say as many as 10% of 12 year old girls have had sex - I'd say that's to early, way to early. The oldest friend I had who was a virgin was still a virgin at 29...
Tough question.
Wait til you're really comfortable, and with someone you feel happy and safe with.

I tell most people that 16 should be the absolute earliest age but even that is young.
Think about it: Sex can cause pregnancy and (even in young people) diseases that may lead to death. Would you trust 14 year olds to appropriately handle an activity that has these possible consequences? Study after study has proven that even 14 year olds get pregnant and get STDs, so youth is no protection whatsoever.
In fact, younger people are less likely to use protection so their chances of getting pregnant or getting an STD might even be higher than those of older people.

"Slut" is a very derrogatory word usually reserved for females...but what about the BOYS in your class? What do you call THEM? They are just as bad if not worse; sex is just a game to them. Do you think it's ok that they tell these young ladies that they love them to get them to have sex, then dump her the next day and move on to another girl? Do you find that amusing? Why would you want to have sex at 14? You're still a child. Wait until you're married.

how about when u r married!?! those kids r too young and you are no exception. would u want to f*ck a girl and then when you get married have to tell your wife that she is not the only one that you have slept with? how do you think she would feel? how would u feel to have to tell her that? it would hurt both of you a lot and maybe even ruin your relationship. and plus your prbably in 8th or 9th grade. u still have all of highschool ahead of you and im sure you dont want a bad reputation. and you said it yourself..most of them are sluts!! HELLO!!! RED FLAG!!!!! dont do it kid! wait until your married. plus you can get an STD or u could get a gurl pregnant...what would u do then? what would u tll tell her parents? what would you tell your parents? your friends? would u take are of it? would u leave her? ur not old enogh to have a job yet..how would u take care of it? these are just some things to think about....hope i helped!

There is no such thing as 'appropriate age" for sex. It is a natural human function and must be regarded as such, not unlike eating or defacating. When you feel the urge and have a willing partner, enjoy your human nature and don't let the Puritans tell you otherwise. You'd be wasting your time and loading yourself needlessly with guilt.

it varies like a lot. for me, im a christian, so like my "appropriate" age is whenever i get married. for others maybe it's just when they're 18.
