Well only fools say there is not God. But anyway,

Mr. Jesus is a bit different from the rest. Mainly when Jesus did things like heal the sick or got a message from the sky, there were witnesses. Unlike the others. So I guess your answer is right on, in that both dumb and educated persons saw and believed what he did and said. In our day, nothing has changed really. Even though there are no miracles like in Jesus day, or before him, the bible is the proof that prophecies they spoke about are happening now. So like in his day many believed but most did not.

I imagine for what I understand about the holy ghost of the trinity, I would not discredit one who claims communication with God. The holy Ghost is to communicate in individual ways with men and women so they can understand greater and deeper meanings of all things. Now if it is to be communicated so you can understand, I would think you could relay things in a verbal way to people. I forget once what people said about what drives an artist but the relation of creation and God had something to do with it, in other words a divine inspiration. Some people are open more than others to this. I think people can and are closed to this through out an entire life. As far as the mention of Art, art can be used in ways for you to understand and shall we say interrupt much like the holy ghost communicates in individual ways.

Prophets have been reached. Evil people who thought they were prophets were condemned (of course before forgiveness).

TO AMP: Where did you find that in the Bible?
