Hi! Can anyone refer me to a reputable supplier of tranquilizer guns? I'm working for a movie studio in the Philippines, and we can't seem to find ones "cinematic" enough We have no Great Cats here, you see, nor wild crocs, nor bears, so the vet suppliers don't stock them.

It seems we might have to find a tranq gun supplier in the US or the EU, where international shipping and great beasts are both readily available.

Make one. IF you really are from a studio then your props manager should be able to have one made.
The rest would be sound effects and other special effects.
There are wild crocodiles in the Philippines, its just that they shoot them at will. No conservation programs. I think the place is called Palawan. Also Calawit island has wild animals.

any place that sells .30-30 rifles that can be loaded/fired single shot. the tranquilizer "rounds" chamber in .30-30 chambers. you see it's not the gun that's special it's the round that fires the dart/syringe.

Why don't you have a machinist or gunsmith make an ordinary rifle more cinematic?
