My husband and I were just chatting and I said the socks that our 2 month old girl were wearing were too small. They barely fit her as a newborn. He said "when does she stop being a newborn, and become an infant?" It got me wondering, and I thought I would post this question... does anyone know? I think it is probably around 1 month or so... Thanks!

I think a baby becomes an infant at at around 3-4 months cause this is about the time you can try them with firex and small amount of solids and stuff also when they come out of newborn diapers into infant ones that's a good indicator ( although some babies are bigger then others).

I say it relies upon on the toddler- and relies upon what contexts those dos and do not are in. some toddler clothing is categorised newborn as a lot as twelve or perhaps 24 months (i turned right into slightly shocked). i guess i might want to easily use straightforward sense at the same time as studying those do's and don'ts. I however, do not consider the poster than suggested 2 months is a stretch. There are different circumstances, and they must be considered- and extraordinarily because the poster would not understand what are you're touching on- and for this reason, i might want to err on the fringe of caution. My son changed into born 7 weeks early- and we presented him homestead 4 weeks after he changed into born. So he changed into about a month previous, yet would not have even been born yet- for this reason at 2 months i might want to definatley have considered him a newborn.

I would agree on 1 to 2 months. Never thought about that before.

FIRST 6 MONTHS...

But you can have newborns that are large and fit older clothes and some older babies that fit smaller clothes...
