When dogs are retired from the ring, they are bred BY THEIR OWNERS or altered & kept-often doing other events-or placed in pet-homes.

Older breeding stock may be placed in pet homes but WILL BE ALTERED!
There is NO "organization". It's up to the individual OWNER.
& they are NOT "adopted"!!! They are SOLD!

I know of no organization per se for retired show dogs. However, first select the breed you want, then contact your local all-breed kennel club or a local breed specific club and ask for a breeder referral. That will get you on the road toward what you are looking for. Or if you want to do more of the research, look online. If you don't know how to find your local kennel clubs, contact the AKC at www.AKC.org

Go to the national breed club website for the breed you want, there should be a link or email for breeder referral, start there.

They are not really adopted, it isn't like they are in a shelter.

i would try looking for breeders of the specific breed of dog u r looking for on the internet. quite often breeders will have an "older dogs for sale" link where they sell their retired show dogs or dogs which they intended to show but didnt. i hope this helps!
