Let me be more specific...I am a handsome guy, a little dark but very bright, a little paranoid but very hopeful, a bit shy around strangers but relatively outgoing in good company. I have never stalked anyone yet I get the feeling that people are afraid of me. Why do you think that is?

As soon as you said the word "stalked" I got scared. Don't use that word. It makes it look like someone has accused you of it or something and that's just creepy man.
And don't tell anyone that people are afraid of you because then I will think "they must be scared for a reason" and then I automatically will not trust you, instead I will keep a suspicious eye on you, waiting to see what it is that people fear.
You tend to use words that are negative... a little paranoid? Even if you are, even if MOST of us are, it's not the best word to use to describe yourself. Maybe you want to say "I'm cautious" rather than paranoid. It just gives me the picture of someone with problems and that could scare a person off too.
Just be more positive about yourself and exert more confidence.

well, a lot of people make judgements prematurely. A lot of people who have just met me, or have only seen me seem to think i am mean, however, im extremely nice to everyone i meet, even strangers. its just human nature to make split second judgement even when it is more than likely going to be incorrect. Im sure youre a great guy, and those who are worth talking to will get to know you and realize youre not anything to be afraid of.

Maybe you are throwing that off, perhaps you have built up barriers to keep people from getting to close to your heart and subconsiously throwing off negative energy, Maybe you are just a large guy, a confident man and intimidate people with a strong personality. Could be many things I suppose.

Oh, people have all sorts of feelings when it comes to whether or not they are socially acceptable. Being frightened of is one of them. You should stop worrying, I used to worry about whether guys fear me because I am more determined, more capable and stronger than many of them. But I've realised I can't make anyone love me, so instead I focus on the people who already do,which makes me happy.

People are afraid of you because subconsciously you want them to be a little scared. You want to seem dangerous and you're looking for someone attracted to danger like you are.

the way your describing yourself freaks me a little. just be yourself instead of trying to be something else. its fake and it can be scary.
