The Bahamas?! I'm jealous beyond belief. Let me know if there are apartments nearby 'cause I want one, too.

Is there a craigslist Bahamas? Not sure. Check out a newspaper and garage sales.

I'm not the type to buy anything new, so I can't recommend any particular stores.

That depends on which you prefer: natural or man made material. My first items will be hammocks and hanging sitting baskets. If you prefer natural, get furniture made of wicker or bamboo. They are both moisture, ocean mist and temperature resistant. If man made, make sure it's non ferrous (no steel or iron). Plastic or resin is cheapest. If you want a little more class, get powder coated (not painted) aluminum or fiberglass.
