Hemolysis is when red blood cells break open due to various kinds of stress (shaking a blood tube, difficult venipuncture, etc) and they spill their contents into the blood plasma. This turns the normally yellow and clear plasma to a crimson red color depending upon the degree that hemolysis has occurred. Hemolysis will affect a number of blood tests including significantly raising Potassium, interfering with Bilirubin analysis as well as Lactic Acid, Magnesium and Aspartate Aminotransferase.

Bible prophecies fall into four general categories: 1) So vague as to be pointless. There will be war, and rumour of war. - Well, that's been true for about the last 5,000 years. Possibly longer but no one documented it. 2) Written after the events prophesied. The entire book of Daniel is known to have been written after all the event had happened. It is easy to make accurate prophecies after something has happened, but generally this is called "history". 3) The prophesied event is unverifiable. Jesus fulfilling the hundreds of messianic 'prophecies' are classic examples of this. The bible claims he was born of a virgin - unverifiable. In Bethlehem - unverifiable. Of the descendants of King David - unverifiable. That he rode into Jerusalem on a type of donkey - unverifiable. In fact if you look at all the 'prophecies' ** that he fulfilled they are all totally unverifiable by the time that the bible texts were actually created. All the messianic prophecies that would be actually verifiable (king of Judea, implement a world wide religion, build a new Temple, etc) are conspicuous in Jesus' failure to perform. 4) Failed. Examples would include Ezekiel's prophecies about Tyre, that totally failed to happen as predicted. ** Most of the 'prophecies' that Christians love to claim Jesus fulfilled (with the only supporting text for this claim being the bible) are actually not messianic prophecies, but verses taken out of context. As the Jews will happily point out the real messianic prophecies Jesus totally failed to perform. Christians claim that they are on his To Do list, and he will be back Real Soon Now to do them. 1,970 years, and still waiting. Edit: changed the word a s s. I wish there was a way to tell YA that I am referring to the equestrian animal, rather than somebody's bottom.

I would like to know why you ask I could explain better...but it is when red blood cells burst and release their hemoglobin. There are several different reasons this could happen.
