No. Your street name and number are allocated by your local council. Your postcode is allocated by the Post office. However, as a single postcode covers, on average, half a side of a street anyway, you would probably keep the same code if you fought it.

I would think that it depended on which street your front door was facing, but in any case Post codes are alloted to properties by local council. who code blocks of houses rather than indidvidual ones. My next door neighbour has exactly the same post code as me.

You need to make an application to your local council. They assign street names, numbers and post codes. Call up your council and ask them about statutory street naming and numbering.

i dont think so my parents live on the corner of carver and lane there house faces carver but their address is 788 lane about a block down there is a house that is 788 carver, so there ma already be a address that u are wantin to change your to
