I'am looking for the most affordable system with the most spl I'am trying to find out if I should buy the Solo Baric l7 or a Pioneer Premier 12''.I'am looking only to buy one of the two brands,but I want to know which will give me the deepest bass,and performance.I want to know a setup that will have me in the 100-140db range I want to be heard 5 blocks away if someone knows a setup to get me there please, please, please help thank you!!!!

to answer your question, the Premier3000's will be louder. there a much better sub for spl, which is what you want. Kicker is overated. get the Premiers in a good box, have the box custom made for them, and you'll blow the kickers away every time.

just so were clear on others posts, let me correct them.

as for the Solo x vs the Premier 5000spl. the 5000 is the louder of the 2. and it's louder with less RMS then the kicker. if you took a 12" premier 5000 vs a 18" solo x, both in there recomended enclousure, the 5000 would be louder. its the world record holder, and has been for over a year now. Team Pioneer runs 12 or 13 subs, cant remember which, while team Kicker runs over 50 solo x's. and they cant beat the 12 used by Pioneer. Pioneer is the SPL leader right now, dont let anyone tell you differnt.

as for the jackhammer. lol. talk about the most worthless overated sub ever made. who the hell would want a sub that you'd need a forklift to install it into your car? maybe if it was the loudest sub on the planet, but its not. the xmax is pathetic for a 22" woofer. its still not the loudest in the world, and there is no way 22" would have good sound quality. MTX made the biggest sub ever, not the loudest.

If money is not an option this is what you should do if you want MAXIMUM DEEP GROUND SHAKING BASS with only 2 subs!!!!!

Get 2 Kicker Solo X Subs - Size is up to you but I would get the 10s to save space and a little money!!
(S10X1, S12X1, S15X1, or S18X!)

Get 2 Kicker KX2500.1 and wire them for 1 Ohm

Get a vented box which makes them knock twice as hard!!!!

**Make sure to get the following though if you plan to get this:

- High Voltage Alternator (Probably around 200 volts to be safe)
- 0 gauge wire (Only top of the line *Stinger*)
- 6 Farad Capacitor
- 2nd Battery
- Alarm System
- Shaved trunk lid
- Powerful fuses (300 Volts)
- Professionally installed
- **Insurance**
- A car that handle this much power

If you wanna go a little cheaper then go with the Premiers with the 2 ohm level and get 2 Pioneer Premier PRS-D5000SPL and wire them at 2ohm.

The Premiers on have 3'000 watts max while the Kickers have 5,000 WATTS MAX!!!! You can try out different amps but just because they are powerful doesn't mean they have good sound quality!! Stick with Kicker!!

well if you want that power you might want to forget about money and windows 140db will shatter safety glass. as for good and affordable a set of dual's in a box(129.99) and a kenwood 1600w amp (304.99) would be optimum. just as good for the money but if you want loud you will be looking at a multi sub setup, 2 12" and 1 15", and 2 1800w amps you are looking at about 5 miles of thump (if setup right) 15" MTX completion , or Phoenix gold competition, 12" Kicker, MTX, Rockford punch stage 2,etc.

All te speakers mentioned and so are the setups but your still playin with the puppys on the porch dude,come out with the big dawgs and get the mother of all subs if you really want to bump.It is called the "MTX JACKHAMMER" We are talking about "22 around "21 tall and "20 wide, 369 lbs 12,000 watts max,8,000 watts rms.
