No. Jesus Christ was a great man who taught good morals, but there is no proof that he was god or the son of god. In fact there is no proof that god exists or doesn't exist. Taoism is the only religion that accounts for everything.

Jesus said "Suffer the little children to come unto me". Teach him how to behave in public just like he was in a wedding, a play, a restruant, etc. Children can feel when the Spirit of God is moving in the service and will always be still or sit up and take notice. He will best understand God by your and others examples. My cousin's little girl had been singing hymns, reciting scriptures and learned her ABC's since she was 18 months old. She loved "Oh, How I Love Jesus" and would beg her mommy to "Sing it again mommy". She tragically ran under her daddy's truck on her tricycle at age 2. It's never too young. Moses was trained very early on by his mother and wet nurse until weaning which history maintains may have been age 3 at the very latest. Parents are to train a child up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. That includes family worship. Just be consistent in worship at church or at home. I knew some little girls who use to run the aisles and be noisy in church. They are now fine young ladies who are quiet and well mannered.

I was a troublesome kid...but my parents took me to church & were patient with me. I think it's important to have them go as early as possible to teach them reponsiblity. Once he learns to behave himself, he'll be able to soak up the message. If you take him after he learns to behave, he'll have to deal with the boredom for a while.

Face it.... it's tough for any kid, especially boys, to sit through church. Train him asap & he'll enjoy it
