Well, I was. I'm ultimately a vistorious survivor though.
Someone is always going to offend. How we respond is what makes or breaks us. If we ask the Father to forgive us, we then have the grace to forgive others but we must be willing to let the grudge go.
"Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!" Matthew 18:7 Holy Bible KJV
"Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:" Luke 6:37

I don't believe in victims. I believe we are all accountable for all of our actions and when we put out a cause, we must live out the effects. (We reap what we sow) Even if not in the same lifetime, we will be accountable in subsequent lifetimes. So the next time anyone feels like a "victim" of someone else's "wrong doing" they should stop and consider that perhaps they "wronged" someone in this manner in another lifetime.
Those are just my beliefs. Others may not see it the same way.

At some point in time we will all be a victim. It's just the way the world works. We have to stay strong in spirit. No matter what happens someone out there has it worse or something worse has hapened to someone else. Chin up.

That is a result of the free will. I still would not have it any other way. I only wish would we make better choices.
