I have applied for all kinds of personal loans and can't get approved for anything. I know getting a job is the first answer which im in the progress of doing but its taking some time. Does anyone know of any other options. I need cash fast to take care of up comin bills. I have an interview tomorrow but even if i get the job i won't get a pay check for a month. My parents are broke and can't help. Im so stressed...what to do?

talk to your financial aid counselor at your school to see if you have used all of your loan eligibility. you may still have some left. if not, your counselor can advise you to some wise choices.

You are in college and have loans. That means that somewhere along the way you have had to deal with the Financial Aid office at your college.

Go there. Tell them exactly what kind of financial trouble you are in, and what you need to do to get out of it in the short term. Work with them (you are not the first person in the world to get into this kind of situation), listen to them, and do what they tell you to do, even if it seems like too much hassle, too much like work, etc.

The next thing to do is pound the pavement ON CAMPUS to find a job. Go to the library: they are the single largest employer on any campus. Now is not the time to be picky. Now is the time to bail yourself out.

Keep in touch with your Financial Aid office, since they may know of loan and grant programs that few others are aware of.

Good luck!

tough one.... The only thing I can think of off the top is a credit card. Go apply for one at sears, you'll def. get one there.. I did, and then opt for the straight cash option, it lets you go to a mac machine and type in ur password and get cash out. Your limit will be $300 to start off though, so hopefully thats enough to cover ur bills for now.

Have you checked into work study? I did that to get extra money. Sometimes the campus had extra work study jobs and even though its not going to go toward you tution they may work it out for your situation. I scored a computer lab job and got about $100+ a week for about 5-10 of work per week.

instead of taking out loans for school, you should look into getting more scholarships and grants. those are money that you don't have to pay back.

a good place to find these would be fastweb.com

also. do you fill out a FAFSA form? they will give you financial aid according to how much money you can contribute towards your education.
