the best way to ensure u dont look like a mutant is to make sure you not only lose the weight but you tone your body up. or you could have extra flaps of skin that will sag and well, to put it simply, make it look like youre melting. just make sure you go to the gym and firm up all the areas you are losing the weight from and you should look perfectly normal.

If you're young you shouldn't have too much of a problem with this. However, you really need to exercise, and make sure to maintain your skin well moisturized.
I'd even recommend you start an exfoliation routine as well. Exfoliating routinely in the shower with something like, St. Ives exfoliating apricot scrub, in combo with good moisturizing, will help prevent skin issues.
I've seen a lot of people loose a lot of weight, and look normal, with out surgery. You should be fine, unless you loose too fast, or too much, like 100+ lbs.
Take it slow, but be smart, and exercise, while at the same time you care for your skin. If in the end, you may end up needing some cosmetic help, it would be fairly minimal, and not such a big deal. Don't let this discourage you.
God bless you.

People who lose a significant amount of weight like that will most likely have extra skin everwhere (arms, tummy, legs, etc, and yes it will hang, and can only be removed by surgery). When the skin has stretched so much, it loses some of its abilility to 'bounce back'. And although some body parts may still be slightly bigger than others, losing such a large amount of weight has to have effect on the overall body, for instance you won't see someone with a size 50 waist with with a 25 inch chest.

Depends how you lose it, how fast, and how old you are when you do so. If you're fairly young, say under 35, lose it at a rate of 1-2 pounds a week, and do some exercise, you should look alright. The exercise is key, though. You'll want to do some walking and lifting weights, or at least body exercises like pushups and crunches. That will help give your skin tone. If you lose too fast, with no exercise, your belly can look saggy.

It depends how you loose it, there have been quite a number of people who have has surgery to remove the fat and the doctors have done nothing with the stretched skin so they're like a thinner person wearing a suit of saggy flesh.
If you diet and exercise a lot you will tone your body into a good shape may have some stretch marks but they can be easily removed with things such as cocoabutter

It will depends on your age, how long you have been fat, and on the condition of your skin.
In a young person, the skin is elastic, and will adapt (it may take a bit of time). It will show stretch marks though...
If you are 30 yrs old or more, chances are that it will be saggy, in extreme cases esthetic operation is required to pull skin tight again.

maybe. if your natural size was whatever you weighed before then you'll look too thin after you lose all the weight even if you're supposedly a normal weight cause your bones will be too big for your body, and you'll basically look anorexic. otherwise, you might end up with skin sagging where the fat deposits used to be, especially if you lose the weight to fast.

It depends on the elasticity of your skin and how long you were over weight. My friend had to have excess skin removed from her upper arms due to excessive weight loss. I think exercising may be beneficial in helping to achieve a more tone look.

You would have stretch marks and excess skin sagging. You could tone up a do exercises but that will only help so much.

of course it will be misformed and all those slobs of skin hanging on your sides and u will be covered with stretch marks. that's why we use physical exercises to look good, not only diet. unfortunately u can't do anything with stretch marks. u can remove them surgically, but it costs a lot of money.
