I have been taking 'Phyto Soya' capsules on and off for the past 2 years with great success!,,,but obviously have become immune to them. I have been told that 'Mexican Wild Yam Cream' is excellent but as it can be bought in different strengths, I am wondering what strength to buy. I would greatly appreciate any help with this matter, as I am unable to take HRT etc......(in case anyone is wondering apparently wild yam cream when rubbed into your arms at elbow joints replaces the oestroegen in your body).

wild yam is great for hot flushes especially tied in with menopause...can be taken internally or applied externally as you said. Take a look at the herb Vitex Agnus Castus (Chaste tree)...often found in combo with wild yam.
the main herb specific for heating and the sweats though is sage...if you grow a plant you can have 3-4 cups per day or get it as a capsule.... good luck n stay cool ;)

Try eating more soya generally (not soy sauce as it is too salty) - things like frosen soya beans (really nice a bit like broad beans) or soya 'milk' products. Also a good product to use is Murad moisturiser if you get a hot red face (it's also good for rosacea). You can get this from beautyexpert.co.uk.

I remember a long time ago reading about some sort of seed cake you can make and eating that helps. Have no more details, but you might want to google it and see what you come up with - I'm just on my way out to work so no time to do it myself - sorry!

I get tons of "Hot Flushes," especially after I eat chilies and such.
Man my corn hole burn with the sensation of a thousand hells as I expel the remnants of a viscous curry. I usually wipe my hole with a stick of deodorant to quell the burn, and oh boy does it sting! Let's just say that the ensuing flush is "HOT"!
Arriba!!!!
