a couple days ago i smoked weed and got high, and during the high my legs were involuntarily twitching (in different areas i would get sudden jerks that felt like muscle spasms every few seconds). after the high, i was back to normal, and the twitching was gone. this happened one other time, tho it was not as noticeable. i have smoked several other times (probably somewhere around 15) and have felt great and fine and havent gotten this. is this a normal effect of getting high or should i stop smoking? (only answer if u actually smoke)

I used to smoke for many many years and experienced the same twitching as you described as well as many other issues.

I found out that the reason smoking gives you that high feeling is because your brain cells are dying off.

When you smoke, you suffocate your brain cells and the THC helps to kill them off so you get those woozy high feelings. This also happens when you drink too much, thats how you get drunk.

You are getting the twitching because as your brain cells die, they affect the nerves in your body causing your nervous system to go crazy and lose control.

I don't know about any long-term affects from this, but Obviously if your bran cells are dying, thats not good, thats why I quit.

It's your call.

I think the "twitching" is the muscles contracting. Some of my friends have noticed things like that on occasion. It does pass and is not serious.

no, smoking weed is fine no matter what. i used to randomly pass out for no reason (when not high) so i went to many doctors and they all asked me "do u do drugs?" and i would be like "only weed" and then ALL of them told me that weed is NOT bad for you and will not harm you in any way. None of the doctors I spoke to told me that smoking weed has any long term effects.

if this isnt a BAD sign..it definetly cant be a good sign, lol. not many good signs DO come from smoking.

please stop and use your time on more important things than that.

And if u really that bored and need to be entertained...entertain yourself without hurting your body..im SURE u can come up with somthing other than that!!

good luck!
