My mom has two adorable kittens!!!! The little one can eat all day, but the older one, I practically have to push her head down to the bowl so she will eat....it works about 10% of the time!!!! Please help!!! Also, they do not seem to like water.....I don't want them to get dehydrated! Any suggestions would be very much appreciated!!!!!

switch to wet canned cat food - the aroma may help tempt the lazy kitty to eat plus wet food is 75% water. This way, you won't worry that they don't drink water as much as you'd like (but kep a fresh bowl out always - they do drink you know.

Kittens have to learn to eat out of the bowl. Some kittens adapt very easily while others take a little longer. Try placing some moist cat food on your fingertip and then gently place a little on the tip of the kittens tongue or nose so he/she can get a taste for it. The same with the water, they watch the others and learn. One kitten I had took quite a while to get used to eating from a dish. Also, you can use a clean dropper to drop water on the kitten's tongue.
