There have been no studies proving that soap cures pain.

It seems to work for allot of people. I don't know why or how, but it does.

have never tried this but I have read that putting a bar of soap under your sheets can help with leg pain.
maybe it's like a placebo, it's mind thing, guess it don't matter as long as the pain STOPS !!!

Because you think it will help. The possibilities are endless. Elderly folks are even placing bars of soap in the bottom of their beds (no contact with their skin) and swearing it helps with arthritis. The suggestions from your own mind are very powerful things! Yes, I'm qualified to answer this question.

i have heard that as well. The local paper carries a syndicated columnist doctor guy and people write in all the time swearing it is the only thing that helped.
