Okay.First date. Great time. i sent email said had great time. he emailed back he had great time asked couple questions..how was your holiday....I replied back..Havent heard back no call???. Cemistry was there. Yes of course he wanted --- so did I but didnt so went home..you think he would call back right? Should I have called the next day letting him know thanks for a good night instead of an email 2 days after? Of course I think he shoudl have called the very next morning..

I would have to say please do not beat yourself up wondering what should you have done different for him to call you back. Obviously probably not a very nice guy and one you want to call back. You did everything right. You do not want to look to eager and you do not want to look desperate. Waiting two days was good, and even better was controlling yourself the first night. If he is not with someone and the chemistry was good then he probably only wanted one thing and it was not as easy as he thought it would be. A nice guy looking for someone to stay with and maybe more does not usually make a lasting relationship with a girl who gives it up right away, and to everyone!

some people have these strange sort of time limits for when certain events should happen..
for example, if i see my boyfriend on sunday, i wont call him until tuesday or wednesday.. a 1 - 2 day break.. it gives him a chance to miss me, and not feel crowded by me.. we've done that since the very beginning..
most guys call within a week, and if they don't.. they aren't going to call at all.. and then you have to live and let live. although, some men are still idiots and will wait a few weeks before calling back -- those are the kind you stay away from, since they obviously don't have enough time to remember you :)

I can't tell for sure, but it is possible that he took your email as a way to let him down easy. Maybe you should have called instead of emailing him since its hard to tell someone's tone through an email. Either that or he might have had another date with someone else he liked more. Who knows? You might just have to give him a friendly call and see.
