Before you do anything, check your employee manual and see what it says about dating. I'm not kidding.
Secondly, be sure that she's worth it. If things go south, you'll have to deal with working with her, the gossip and discomfort of your failed attempt.
Finally, please consider your position. If she's a superior, she could make your life a living hell. If she's a subordinate, she could scream sexual harassment.
I hate to throw it out there like that, but when the heart and hormones are working, common sense seems to go out the window.

Find some common ground. Just talk to her. But don't just go up to her and talk... That's awkward. Nope, you wanna get in a situation where you could just have small talk. Find out her interests. If she's into something you like, awesome. Say you like... I dunno, football (typical topic, I know). Chances are she might like it too (then again, who DOESN'T like football...?). So, ask her if she'd like to hang out this weekend (or whenever) and watch it with you. Just don't seem needy or desperate. That's a turn-off for most chicks. Don't treat her any differently than you would a friend (of coarse don't slap her on the back and say 'Dude, you're the best, man.'; most girls would find that a tad strange.) Also don't be fake. That goes along with treating her like any of your other friends. Also don't immediately ask her for personal info, like phone #, Email, or her home address. You wanna ask her to chill at YOUR place. This seems to increase chances of a second date (or... session of chilling). While they're at your place, THAT'S when you should go the extra mile and try to straighten up. It's easy to let stuff collect on the floor or where it ain't supposed to be. That's also a turn-off. Chicks love a neat house. Just don't act like you want her to stay, unless it's just a casual "Well, I wish you could stay longer... It was nice havin' ya. We should do this more often." And definitely DO NOT say anything like "No, please don't go...!" or you'll seem like a beggar.
I understand this is more info than what you asked for, but I just thought I'd give you a little extra help if you happen to think you need it.

Hello, Ismael. One simple and safe way to do this is to have a an extra ticket for some cheap and fun event (comedy show or a movie) and then come up to her one day (preferrably a few days in advance) and say: "Hey, I got this extra ticket for .... Come with me. It will be fun." - as simple as this. And look - you are not asking her, you are inviting her! This will make you come across as confident without being pushy and thus very attractive. Also, you don't really ask her "out" so the risk of rejection is non-existent. And hey, don't make a big deal out of it when you talk to her. Make it look like it's the most natural thing for you to do. And if you don't make a big deal out of it, she won't either.
And get the tickets AFTER you get her to agree to come with you so that you are not stuck with that extra ticket.
Thanks.

Hi Ismael!!
Start with a casual talk. Choose a topic that suits the occasion or the place you are deciding to approach her!! Be casual about it, and be yourself.
Confidence is a plus. Instead of asking , would you like to......???? Ask her, by saying, I know this place, or I haven't being to this place, I would like to go with you, and check it out!!! What do you say??? Be assertive, like you are NOT going to accept a no for an answer, but don't just say it!!! Just act like it!!!
Girls like guys, that knows how to take control of situations.
Remember, be assertive, confidence, friendly most of all casual.
Try NOT to make a big thing out of it!!!
And don't insist. Later she will turn inside out when she sees you did not insisted, and probably, she will be the one inviting you some place!!
GOOD LUCK, GOD BLESS YOU & HAPPY LIFE

Just say that..."hey you seem pretty cool I think you'd make a nice friend.". I'm sure she probably hasn't had someone say that before...they're probably saying "you're beautiful...wanna have dinner". And you'll be different because unlike the other guys you're a challenge and not being overly interested.
