I can't help you with this because you have to find it on your own. In order for the dance to mean anything to you, you must find it on your own. Actually, no. The song should find you, just like a good book. I have never gone through and listened to every song in my collection to get a song to dance to, they always come to me. Even if I do pick out a song, another one will find me and I will have to take that one instead. It's not just a song to go with the dance, it's the soul and foundation to the whole thing. But good luck. It will come to you in time.

There are so many good lyrical songs out there, you really need to find something that's personal to you so that you can connect with the music. Some good artists are Seal, John Mayer, Elton John, and James Blunt. But like I said theres a plethora of good stuff out there....

I'm not a lyrical dancer but Ive been at a competition and seen someone do a really good lyrical dance to the song "heartbreaker". I'm not sure who sings it though, but its an older song, your dance instructor would probably know.
