Sorry to say, but you can't. She has to want to stop herself..... and has to want to get help herself.... it taks drunks a long time to realize that they need help and to admit it. n

You can't stop people from drinking. If you don't like the things that other people do then you probably shouldn't hang out with them. You could try to tell her that you are worried about her and maybe that might open her eyes a little bit, but most likely she has an underlying problem that she is trying to mask with alcohol, so maybe you should try to be there for her instead of trying to focus so much on her drinking.

Easy avoid anything that has to do with drinking. Take her on a picnic and bring sparkly apple juice or something that tastes or looks like drinks.
