Lots of good answers. I like Bob P, I think, the best. Certainly you want to answer your son because ignoring him is not right. He is concerned about you and wants to know everything is alright. You must answer him. Answering your sons question is most important and assuring him that Daddy is not hurting you is what is most important. As he grows older he will realize what is going on, I'm sure and know that you and Daddy love each other very much. It is all good.

I think this happens to every couple at some point in time, you get caught up in the moment and forget to close the door. Just tell him that mommy and daddy were just playing and that daddy was certainly not hurting mommy. For a 2 year old, leave it at that and don't bring it up unless he asks.

Make sure you tell him that daddy wasn't hurting you... like everyone else said, you guys were play-wrestling.. I guess that's okay...

hey, you'll look back on this & laugh... your child isn't traumatized but don't let the whole " daddy did something bad to mommy stick in his head" - kids remember much more than we give them credit for...

At 2, he'll eventually forget.. at 4 or 5 not likely... eewww, I still remember walking in on my parents... oh, goodness... not the image I needed to remember today... but, alas, you, your husband, & your son shall be fine...

good luck!

Tell the wee laddie that is how mommy and daddy play nice together, drop it, he'll forget it, don't worry about it anymore, and for God sake, woman, next time LOCK THE DOOR!

The best thing i feel you can do is, without getting into depth, is reassure him that you were not being hurt. His concern must be that his daddy was hurting you and by reassuring him that "daddy" wasn't hurting you he should be fine..maybe a family hug to show you and daddy are freinds...and....
For gods sake keep that door locked if you get up to any hanky panky...lol
GOOD LUCK!!!!! and god bless

Your answer needs to be age appropriate.
He will forget all about it in a few days. But remember to lock the door next time, especially when he starts getting older.

Tell him that daddy is not hurting you. THats one of the important things. Or he will end up hating dad forever.

I'd tell him that you were just playing around. He is still very very young and will likely forget what had happened. If he brings it up again just tell him you were playing around. I think he's too young to be told what you two were actually doing.
