Maybe the best thing to do is be friends, and move on because trying too hard could force him to not like you even more. Perhaps as you mature and grow as a person he will grow to like you. You will probably find someone better anyways. The best thing to do is to for him to like you genuinely, and voluntarily. Because everything he does is real...But if that doesn't work start going out with someone else, and he might like you. A man always wants something that he can't have. (Just keep the other guys' feelings in mind)

Well when you say man, how old is he? If he is much older and you are only 16 then there might be your problem. If he is just your age and he just wants to be friends then, im sorry he just doesnt want to get involve. Why don't you just forget and act as if you dont need him and maybe he'll come around. If he doesnt then the only thing is to just move on. I'm sorry there isnt any easy solution to this.

Sure, how long would you need him to like you for?
Why on earth are American teenage girls so interested in trying to get boyfriends and not in their education? This is really sad that so many young girls put so much effort into chasing boys who are only interested in having sex "ONLY". Why won't these girls wise up? What is wrong with you? Are you that insecure that you can't function as a normal human being if you don't have a boyfriend? God, that is so unnecessary at 16 Get an education.

The best way is to show that you're not interested in him anymore and date one of his friends. But the truth is, once you've got a "let's just be friends" from him, there's a very slim chance he'll ever his mind.
Sorry for the bad news but it's the truth.

You can't "convince" someone to like you. Either they do or don't. Just be yourself...if someone is attracted to who you are they isn't any convincing needed. If a guy needs convincing do you really want him?
Get to know him, let him get to know you, don't be someone you aren't

I think if he wants to be friends, then be friends. No use in dating him if he's not happy. He probably doesn't want a girlfriend, or doesn't want to ruin a friendship. You will find Mr. Right

If he just wants to be friends, then he just wants to be friends. If you push it, then you're just going to come off as needy and clingy. Leave it alone. If he doesn't share intrest in you, then he's not worth it. Take what you can get, be his friend.

Well, if he says he wanted to be friends - then be friends because you never know where that will lead you to.
