Yes, it is a serious question. If one Jew was killed because of his religion it is wrong. But to push Holocaust constantly so as no one has suffered only Jews is not correct. What about so called Russian Revolution who paid for it. American bankers did,who were they I will give you one guess. The first "Government of USSR" had 97% Jews in it. I can go on to 1940 occupation of Poland by USSR, who were the collaborators with NKVD.It is well recorded.
So nobody in this world can claim to be a special or chosen by God, or that some story in the Bible promises this or that.
As you pointed out killing Palestinians is an act of Antisemitism, because Palestinians are Semites.
But all that does not give anyone a permission to kill anybody else. History is there to learn and not to repeat the mistakes.
Forgiveness should be our base for all our relationships between nations religions and races.

Unfortunately, the history of humankind, in the broadest view, is a history of genocides. The last century was particularly bloody, but by no means atypical. It included genocides in Rwanda, the Balkans (several different ones), East Timor, Indonesia, Cambodia, Burundi, Bangladesh, India, China, Korea, the USSR, Turkey, and Nazi occupied Europe, just to name a few. The tradition is continuing in Sudan as we speak.
The genocide of native peoples by invading colonists is one aspect of this.
The Nazi holocaust of European Jews is for most people of European origin the emblematic genocide of the 20th century, but it was not even the worst numerically: Stalin and Mao get the gold and silver medals there.
Israel is a problematic case, because there is no getting around that it is a European founded settler state (as is Australia, New Zealand and every country in North and South America). The Zionist movement is of European origin, an attempt to solve the centuries old problem of European antisemitism. However, if the current modern state of Israel has no right to exist then neither do Australia, Canada, the US, etc, either.
Personally, I don't believe that Holocaust denial should be a criminal offence: such sanctions create martyrs, and the nutcase ideas should be allowed to come to the surface where they can be properly criticised. However, you make a good point: the Nazi genocide against the Jews is only the tip of the iceberg of a distressingly common human activity. I say bring all genocides to the light of day, examine them, debate the history, and above all, learn from them.

The Native Americans were not captured and then slaughtered. I am not saying what happened to them isnt bad, but they had the option of leaving. They decided to fight. The Jewish people did not even have the option of leaving.
Israel became a Nation in 1948 at the time the palastinians were offered 98% of what they wanted.(By Great Britain who was actually in control of the land, not the arabs) They refused it and said 100% was all they would accept. A few days after Israel declared its independence It was attacked by six diffirent Arab Nations... Some how they survived. Ever since they have dealt with terrorism and attacks by the arabs, over and over they have given away land for peace... So just where are the Jews supposed to go?? Israel is very small, I've been there you can drive through the whole country in less than a day... Where should all of the Jewish people live? During the Holocaust every country had a limit as to how many jews they would let move their. Jewish people were dying by the thousands and immigration was not getting them out fast enough... They really did not have much of an option...

its never ok to kill anyone. muslims dont kill infidels. even the 9/11 attack wasn't about attacking christianity but instead attacking the US. its not fair that people are so ready to condemn islam because of the actions of some muslims that dont represent the more than billion other muslims in the world . the palestinian/ israeli issue is really strange because the israelis have guns while the palestinians have nothing but stones and yet the islraelis are seen as the victims. i wonder if the israelis had been the muslims would the sympathy of the people be directed at the palestians. i dont know if i'm making sense i'm sleepy

I think the reason simply is that history is written by the winners. You never hear about successful genocides. Few talk about the Armenians in Turkey, or what the Jews suffered in Russia or, as you mentioned, the Indians of North and South America.

People have been fighting since the beginning of mankind. All they need is a reason. The Jews think they are the only ones to have been killed and the blacks think they are the only ones to ever have been slaves.
The reality is that it has happened, at one point in time or another, to every race and/or religion.

As a people who praise humanity; as a human race we have a despicable history. Since the beginning of time we, as a people, have abolished those with whom we didn’t like or agree with, or those who had what we wanted: like land or rich resources. We haven’t changed much. It appears we haven’t learned from our past and as the acts of genocide pile high, clearly, we’re doomed to keep repeating these atrocious acts. Maybe we just need to stop killing each other.

Doing anything against a single person because of a group event is against moral considerations. Two wrongs in the same manner don't make anybody right. If we rise above the average and be fair to others in our dealings, no matter their race. then we deny judgement. Thats the coolest thing we can do.

I can only speak for the Native American. We are few and we are scattered and mixed. That is what the white man was trying to do and he did succeed. Native Americans have been fighting for their lands, to stop public display of ancestral bones, and to try to make life better for those who are on reservations. There is extensive literature about the Native American Experiences and the experiences of mixed blood natives. That is about the best that can be done. No one else much cares.

Because politics aren't made to make sense. Why isn't gay marriage allowed if the Declaration of Independence says that one of everybody's unalienable rights is to be entitled to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness? Why is it that if the House and Senate approved, the president could dissolve the government and declare himself emperor? Why do the greatest leaders lead their people in the wrong direction?
